2016 Uniform Thread

Recommended Posts

It's not a "woods" design on the sash. It is the appearance of stone/cracked marble. It mirrors the design of the guard uniforms. I will forever love the traditional maroon and gold uniform, however that uniform does nothing to enhance this year's show theme. The black uniforms allow the light-colored guard to make a bigger statement and impact.

You don't have to like it, but this is the direction of the activity. It is a more theatrical approach where every detail, including corps uniforms, plays a role in show design to further enhance a theme/concept

I'm sorry. You're right. I saw the woods design first instead of the marble for some reason. But I hope that I get used to them!

The right silhouette looks like a more old school Cavaliers jacket. I'm thinking somewhere around 1980. Of course I have no clue what it will look like, but the outline kind of looks like it.

Is the corps using black Aussies now? Or is that the DM? I don't think it's the DM because the gloves are black and the DM usually has white gloves and white gauntlets.

And the one on the left bears a resemblance to a corps from Casper.

Crown turns into Casper with uniform changes, and plays spaghetti western music ? Meanwhile, Casper changes its uniforms, goes Mod, and plays Coldplay ?

Jeez, Louise.. up is down ( haha!) But I'm ready for anything.......... I think ( lol!)
