Was the hype this "real" for each corps, and was the contest predicted to be this close and hard to pick? Or is this an abnormally talented and entertaining year of 2017? People hype their own home corps/favorite/etc. This year seems like it's gonna be incredibly volatile placement wise, so we shall see! Both very talented corps with great shows, but neither will quite reach the level of the Top 4. Phantom and Cadets will vie for 7th. Both come out with great shows, but don't have the depth of talent that the Top 6 have recruited. My other battles have remained virtually the same. Now we wait for the first scores to come out... Have you seen Crown? They will be battling for #1 this year. I would be a surprised if they don't have the best and most demanding design. It's off the hook and they are good. If that show is finals, that would be a great accomplishment. It might be tough to keep up with all the topics on DCP this season.
