drumcorpsfever
Louisiana Stars! No props. Just horns, drums, and guard. It actually looks fresh!
Jake W.
GREAT job Louisiana Stars!!!! While I LOVED "In Suspense" last year, as it really put the corps on the map, this was a much more sophisticated design that was handled SO WELL by the corps. Last year was pretty much music & marching; this year's design had tons of layering and simultaneous demand and musical shaping and nuance. The church-like singing in the ballad was delicious. Huge step up in maturity for the corps. Massive amounts of growth for Louisiana Stars, cannot wait to see what the future holds for this talented group!! KVG_DC
Here's where the competitive really begins I think. Spartans v. Cascades. Note the uptick in visual programming.

furious-winter
Loved this show the other night. I'm on the edge of my seat already.
Jake W.
And, as much as I loved Louisiana Stars' performance just now, Genesis need not worry about their secure Semis status. They are on an entirely different plane, barring any massive penalties.

Lol The piece they pull from for the closer is a dueling clarinetist featured piece built around Freebird, it's a blast. Was a HUGE hit for Flower Mound high school this past fall in BOA.
