Yes Thank you.. but it's ok. Don't need it anymore. They'll be fine

Yeah...they are always fine.  When people criticize BD, they usually only pick on one thing.  And tonight's comments weren't that critical.

No one is as prolific as you were last night Liahona.  BTW sorry I missed you in Lawrence.  Saw you chatting and find the want to interrupt.

Can someone gives an fairly review of BD than only saying what you dont like... jeeeez over yeaes I get it now. Since someone who dont like the show much commented, can someone who actually like the show coment just to balance out the who comment on BD. Yes, ? No ?

How about someone who has mixed feelings on the show, and thinks it does some things really well and others less well? I love their use of props to gradually form the painting the show is based on, and I think a lot of the big climactic horn moments are really well written. As usual for BD, everything is executed at an incredibly high level. I think the writing for the brass soloists is (for the most part) very good, and I enjoy the concert horn feature in the ballad. That said, I think the guard book (while executed very well) is not as interesting in my opinion as Vanguard, Boston, or Cavaliers, and a few of the moments don't work for me musically (specifically, I find the arrangements of Harlem Nocturne and Fantastic Beasts a bit jarring/choppy). While some of the drill is very well-done, other moments seem a bit bland to me. Overall it's certainly (in my opinion) a good show, just not one that captures my attention quite as much as SCV, BAC, or Cavies this year. Regardless of my thoughts on the show, the marchers themselves are doing an incredible job performing it and I have nothing but immense respect for what they're putting on the field.

Scores were announced as we were leaving. Should be up soon. In summary:

-BD wins

-Cavies over BAC by .05

-BK back ahead of Blue Stars

-Mandarins now really close to Stars & BK

-Colts within a point of Academy
