Troopers are ranked 15-20 and it's business as usual. See you next year, Troop! What realities apply to Scouts that don't apply to Troopers? The Troopers' trend line is consistent and flat which shows stability. Madison's trend line is pointing down which shows things are not going well. The question remains: Why does that make their current residence in 15-20-land any different from, say, the Colts' more-or-less permanent residence in 15-20-land? Why does that make the Scouts in danger of disappearing, while the Colts are fully expected to have full camps and come back for 2020? Are the Scouts owed some kind of special concern because of what they did yesterday? I would argue those other corps have better leadership and people in place that know how to run a corps. steelchops
Does any other corps do drill as complex as the high speed rotating boxes in the opener?

Just depends on your frame of reference. I applaud them for winning CYO and VFW Nationals but not all west coast corps attended shows as they did beginning in 1972. Scouts are 2 time DCI World Champions, albeit not for the last 21 years! Both Troopers and Madison are doing better than Kingsmen!!

Pioneer is essentially banned for life from DCI. That is zero. As long as Madison breaks 50, they are closer to Blue Devils.
