I hate to agree, FlamMan, but I thought the same thing as well. Unfortunately.

The line & poem (Burnt Norton) is some fantastic stuff. http://www.davidgorman.com/4quartets/1-norton.htm

Opener tempo is really slow (intentially) - I thought of Chad Pence saying “that old 80s Blue Devils mosey.” Music is kinda samey- no progression of energy. This is going to sound terrible but it seemed to go on - Fans even thought it was done before it was done Ahhh chad pence has some great lines😉 1

Brass is perfection. Pit off to the side. Best mix with pit, etc of the night, could really hear the tympani etc. Sometimes felt like it was a string of brass amazing moments with other stuff between. What the #### does “the detail of the pattern is motion” mean? Nothing. Pretentious Word salad. Narration doesn’t make your show deep. Crown will be in the top four with Bluecoats, BD and SCV It’s from a TS Elliot poem

Scouts were literally dead last in 5th place in every single caption except GE 2 judge J. Bell has Madison in 2nd place, 2.4 points higher than GE judge 1. Maybe it was a tabulation error, put his number in the wrong box, or was miss read by the one who entered it. it is an anomaly outlier score for sure

It's shaping up to be a three way race between the Cadets, Blue Stars, and Mandarins for that 7th place spot. I think Blue Knights may slip in the race for the 9th spot. Would not be surprised to see Cadets fall to the 10th position. Now, may the dog race continue, MUSH! corps8294
I'll be honest; the Mandarins worry me more than the Cadets.

Haven't seen the show, so don't know. What does GE 2 focus on? Musical or Visual? Maybe one judge just liked it better than the other judge?

Judges enter their own scores via tablet, cutting out the middle man. Then they have to verify that number on the tablet. So pretty hard for it to be an error.
