I found a blog post saying Sinatra's parents passed as Irish to network in NYC upon immigration. If we can go with Les Miz can go with some "Jean Valjean's grandma could have been Irish" we can go with this. https://whennutmegmetbasil.com/2012/04/20/frank-sinatras-irish-connection/
rjohn76
I caught wind of a story this weekend that may pertain to Pioneer, but also other DCI/marching organizations that have employed this person in recent years. https://wsbt.com/news/local/former-laporte-coach-charged-with-child-seduction https://6park.news/indiana/arrested-coach-faced-complaints-but-was-resolved-of-wrongdoing-at-eths.html https://www.evanstonian.net/news/2021/11/19/color-guard-captains-recount-culture-of-abuse-intensity-under-head-coach/ This person was most recently on the design team with Madison Scouts in 2019. Not sure if they were active in 2020 or 2021, but previously had spent time with Dutchboy, Bluecoats, Mandarins, and the Santa Clara Vanguard per their own bio. https://www.forwardperformingarts.org/news/madison-scouts-announce-2019-design-team With respect to how this pertains to Pioneer... heard that this person may have been present at the planning meetings a few weeks ago and have some involvement in their WGI efforts moving forward. If that's the case, it would be pretty "on brand" for Pioneer based on what we've seen in the past.

As more groups become more careful and do background checks, etc the abusers will look for groups that are not careful.

The plight of Pioneer aside....I looked at the link you posted....why do Drum Corps need 7 people to design a show? Can't just 1 or 2 people do it? Would be cheaper and I bet no one would notice.
