Lance
Wasn't even planning on watching tonight but glad I did. I feel Like most of the corps but on their best performances I've seen so far. Pleasure to watch. Good night ya'll Edited July 30, 2022 by Lance
brassboy
That brass judge was the same judge from San Antonio. So they've seen/heard all the corps. In SA, BD was on top and Crown in 2nd. Tonight, Crown in 4th. So that judge definitely called the performance as he heard it.

Even still, it’s felt like an SCV-BAC-BD conversation this season, so good on Bloo reminding us not to forget about them IMO
MikeRapp
While I don’t love their show, it is HUGE that Boston is on track to medal. The activity is in good shape. There is an official new Beast of the East in DCI. Exciting!

jasgre2000
There's always moments in the season where I'm reminded that I'm not really qualified to judge these corps. Tonight is one of them. Cavies beat the Blue Stars in every music category. Music seems like the Blue Stars strength to me, so I'm a little surprised. But I'm not an expert, so ... if all three judges disagree, I'm probably wrong.

The last time all of these corps were together in San Antonio on 7/23, BLOO perc finished 4th so SCV out tonight isn’t the only reason BLOO took first. Last week they were also beat by BAC and BD.

I don’t see them passing the top four.

We should have recaps that don't have everyone placing in every subcaption where they are placing overall. Not saying you're saying that, but I don't understand the "zany" comments. These top 5 are all sensational, and BD is the only one that is scoring in the 1st and 2nd place ordinals for most of the captions, the other 4 have weaknesses that BD doesn't have and that's creating the zany recaps.
