On the way home from Big Loud and Live and I am beyond STUNNED. Incredible year.

Troopers were amazing. Expected nothing but fell in love immediately. Never seen/heard anything like it

Crown & Boston were super exciting, loved the stark contrast from last years shows

I definitely did not have misty eyes at the Bluecoats

In NO WAY did I have a tiny tear in my eye hearing Tilt again with theater audio system

Glad to see your post and that you enjoyed the show! A spectacular night.

Just got back from Cinemark, didn't wait for scores.  What stuck out for me.

BD-They are going to win.  They really have no weaknesses.  Props for this show seem an after thought IMHO.

BAC-Nice show.  Mello's seriously out of tune at the beginning of the show.  Little bit of dirt in percussion (from a horn guy here).  Guard is every bit as amazing as was promoted.

Bloo-A LOT of backdrop props.  Show is cool but seriously stop smoking joints when you are discussing the next years show.  Strong visual save the costumes and uniforms make is hard to see what they are doing on turf.  Seriously ANY other color would have worked.  The guard looked great in their costumes.

Crown-Throwback show?  Seemed like this show would have been right there in 2010-2014.  I enjoyed the production.  They seemed to move very well.  My only gripe (with all Crown shows) is that throwing in mass Arban exercises into every show that make no musical sense is getting stale.

Mandarins-Seems like an updated Cadets show (Good and Evil?)  I dig it.  Didn't really like the white robe things.  Props at end were cool.  I personally would have thrown up LOL.

Phantom-Looking cleaner.  Probably my ballad of the year award.  Could take the goo back a little.  But, to be fair their horn line is that loud.  Show probably flows the best 2-12.

Cadets-I liked the show.  I personally think that the uniforms/costumes ruin a fantastic visual program.  Makes them look blobby is that is a word.  I mean for really hot shows this makes total sense but for finals...not feeling it.

Cavies-STRONG drumline.  IMHO best of the night.  Actually did not like the thing they stuck on their hats.  Real plumes look SO much better IMHO.  They looked and sounded great.  The only thing was little visual tears every now and then.

Colts- First corps of the night that had a great show IMHO AND had a clue about interval and distance and why we clean drill.  Thank you!  What a clever show done well.

Blue Stars-I mean not a bad show but the color schemes?  The whole having everyone wear different uniforms/costume (at the beginning) makes no sense and makes them seem dirty.  Again a green on green uniform that loses acuity upstairs.

Troopers- I LOVE this show.  And FWIW the harmonica I think was from a Charles Bronson western I believe.  Very cool. I can see them beating Blue Stars and Colts.

Blue Knights-I do not see how this is beating Crossman.  I seriously don't get it.

Crossman-You should be in top 12 IMHO.

PC-Great push this year.  Neat show design.  VERY dirty for finals.

Spirit- Welcome back in a big way.  VERY enjoyable show.  Could see you above PC simply because of being cleaner.

What I can remember.  Small crown at theatre tonight.

I thought my Cavies sons did just swell, personally.

They sounded great from the 50. Still a little brass stuff here and there, but huge improvement.

I just laughed with joy...we played that show my freshman year of high school. So awesome.

That's why I love attending high school shows- they give me a chance to hear my favorite songs live that I otherwise would never get the chance to

Curious question as to why you think BDs props are an after thought?
