WOOHOO
They could, but the powers that be wouldn't allow it. How groundbreaking and edgy of you Bluecoats probably won't win, but it would be good for them if they kept it close
Room_101
And tonights score counts ?? or nahh....just toss it out. G Easy, cowboy. Those posts were made like 10 hours before the scores were announced!
ContraRich77
That this thread even EXISTS is a testament to just how good the Bluecoats are this year, and how far they have become. God knows that Indy would go NUCLEAR if Bloo pulled an upset Finals night!
SCV84
It could happen. And the Detroit Lions could win the Super Bowl next year. I'm just glad you didn't say Raiders... So nice to have at least one team in the league that is a bigger joke than mine has been since 2002...
perc2100
How groundbreaking and edgy of you Bluecoats probably won't win, but it would be good for them if they kept it close I think short of a colossal collapse, this season has been way more than "good for them" no matter what happens in Indy. Even if they drop back as far as fourth (which probably won't happen, but it's possible) they have had their best season in their history. Elmo Blatch
That this thread even EXISTS is a testament to just how good the Bluecoats are this year, and how far they have become. This. How many people in the pre-season polls predicted a 7th-9th finish? Most were predicting out of the top 6. Actually, there were even some predicting even lower than 9th. Jeff Ream
maybe. they still have some cleaning to do where BD is now getting some performer over the book numbers or performer and book flatlined.
stevie89phan
No. I could see Cadets or Cavies edging them out for 2nd before ti could see them winning over BD
Maestro1
You know, if Bluecoats would have seen Blue Devils more frequently than they did this year, I would say yes, possibly! But, due to the Minneapolis show being rained out, Bluecoats didn't even compete against BD until July 30th in Murfreesboro (2 weeks before finals)! The only other show head-to-head with BD on the same day was Atlanta. This Thursday in Indy will only be the 3rd time. I'm hoping they at least close the gap on them each day up to Saturday and scare the hell out of them! This is ONE of the largest reasons that G7 has had issues with DCI and the current schedule. I am firmly a believer that G7 (or now unofficially G8 now that Blue Stars have seen the light) should have more head-to-head competitions more frequently throughout the season, adding basically 6 shows reserved for this purpose. They are not asking for the moon, but if DCI doesn't listen to them, they WILL be throwing more power (and possibly money) behind their future endeavors as a seperate entity, and inform DCI when they're available to perform FOR DCI sanctioned competitions. I know future meetings are happening soon with these directors to further their quest, and I am 100% behind them. Without going into details of their latest proposals, DCI needs to listen to these directors and their boards who support these ideas for the future outlook as part of DCI. If they don't, next year's tour schedule is going to look way different.
