he marched there as a kid. his resume after Tarheel isn't exactly shabby

Tarheel Sun, huh? good luck with that.

Pioneer must really like hanging onto that last place position.

The staff is starting to come together pretty nicely... In case you haven't seen it, Adam Hill is returning as Percussion Caption Head & Arranger: Full Story.

Look for more announcements in the coming weeks. There are still several show concepts on the table to fulfill the selected "Celebrate" theme, so keep your eyes out for that to be announced soon! There's a lot of excitement surrounding the upcoming season!

It would be great if David Crook came back. He brought the guard to a whole new level. Who knew that same guard that came out in June would be finishing the season doing double flag work.

And yet another piece of the puzzle falls into place:

Kris Hammond to Head Pioneer's 2011 Brass Caption

Again, I feel that this is a step outside of the box! It's getting close to time to Celebrate! Who's all on board with us? Visit our website to fill out an online application to be a part of this exciting season!

This is great for Pioneer. I like how the staff is turning out to be young-ish and local (N. IL). Good staff development is a great way to increase the numbers. Hopefully, this choice will be as productive for the brass section as Adam Hill has been for percussion.
