If its malfeasance than DCI will do something, if its not DCI won't. The G7 realizes that DCI is more powerful a body with them onboard and DCI realizes its there to support the member corps. There's no indication that the G7 are brash. They have radical proposals but only to start important conversations. No matter the side level heads will prevail I am certain. And where are proposals from the bottom corps? Clearly they don't have the same concerns as G7 but what are there concerns? Are they content to operate DCI as it is with 2 corps going down in a year? I hope even they realize change is necessary. compromise works well when you have discussion. this isn't discussion. This is "give us what we want or we're gone." An ultimatum. Ultimatums tend to blow up on those issuing it. And let's be honest...there really isn't much more the other can give. They got their special shows. They get paid for those. He's made victims of six innocent corps who but for his malevolent power would align themselves with the rest of DCI. This guy has got to be stopped. Next thing you know he'll steal Christmas! Sounds more like a recognition that these other corps have hitched their wagons to Mr. Hopkins, even though every single point may not be one they agree with entirely. It is not unusual for this to be the case with any sort of coalition. Rarely would they all agree completely, but eventually decide to let one person take the lead, under the premise that somebody has to, and knowing that they tend to generally agree with that person on the major issues. HH Yes! the ability if some to scape goat GH even from the G7 stand point is terrible! Use GH as a scapegoat and stand behind him or use GH as the common enemy of drum corps. The man cannot win to be abused like that! He is truly working only toward the betterment of Youth... Those that think GH are the cause of issues need only to see the big picture.
