johnpendell Posted June 16, 2016 Share Posted June 16, 2016 I have been thinking about your statement. You sound as though it would be impossible for Madison to beat BK. BK was my 3rd favorite show last year (after Crown and SCV). I listen to it and watch it all the time. The music was wonderful, and I loved the visual program (mainly due to the guard, mirrors, main corps uniforms, and how well the drill was designed - just beautiful). But, and it's a BIG BUT, in terms of technical demand, BK marched one of the easiest drills in the Top 12 last year. In fact, I agree much more with the VA judge who placed them 11th in prelims than the VA judge who placed them 8th in finals. A drill like that, this year, will not keep BK in 6th place.
