ShutUpAndPlayYerGuitar
I know it. Just noting the Centerville results, since this is a thread for the latest score, not the highest or most accurate score. It's interesting to compare CT's captions scores from Centerville vs Racine. Their brass score actually increased by a tenth at the DCI show, whereas pretty much all the other performance/GE captions took a gigantic hit. Not sure if Isoda is a full-on DCA judge, but he's judged quite a few all-age corps at DCI shows. The disparity between DCI/DCA panels is a fact of life, though. Either way, a DCA corps that does these shows is getting good information. http://dcacorps.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/kilties.pdf http://recaps.competitionsuite.com/b60a30fc-0a46-4440-a789-70a1668ec2d3.htm

Dan Detweiler
Of course everyone realizes that this list is getting ready to be blown completely out of the water after this weekend, right? Numbers from three weeks ago...some with no number at all. None of this matters in the least until the week before Rochester when those last numbers are in. Can't wait to see everyone in my home town over Labor Day! Great year for CV...great year for DCA...great year for drum corps in general. Best of luck to everyone this weekend. Dan Detweiler
Well, the last number before championships will determine prelims performance order if I am not mistaken.
ajlisko
INFLATO MAN In days of old When corps were bold And slotting was not invented Inflato Man Would show up at prelims With scores that made all elated Eights became Nines And Nines became Tens And nary an eye was blinked The only ones Who seemed to wonder Were the judges from the prior weeks Mickey puffed away While others seemed to say This is the way the scores should have been And Inflato Man wondered Why in the world He was ignored until DCA weekend :-) Written tongue-n-cheek for all of us that waited for Inflato Man ... Just remember there's TWO weeks of scores left before Labor Day ... Best of luck to all ... oh ... and with all being said on this topic - the Hurcs have spent the past two weekends revamping their show based on the judging community's comments and input ... and I do mean REVAMPED ... so ... if you saw them earlier, look for a new spin that has been put on their "jazz packed" AFTER HOURS program ... :-) Edited August 18, 2015 by ajlisko
Florida Sun
This Saturday in Clifton is the last time all the big eastern corps have to set there marks .I know there's still one more regular season show ,but deep in there minds they want that number this week. And add into the numbers from the southern tier and the Midwest ,plus the UK corps ,and you got a battle coming DCA week -end .So everyone give us your best and good luck to all. 3 very good corps will be looking from the stands rather then the field .
HBD
Well, the last number before championships will determine prelims performance order if I am not mistaken. The HIGHEST score of the SUMMER, no matter when it was achieved, will determine prelims order.
