tesmusic
Jamey Thompson coming on board to Madison as a visual consultant/design team. http://www.madisonscoutslive.com/mainsite/about/staff/
xandandl
Regarding the Madison moves, one ex-Crown DM (EVD) returning to his alma mater while his successor as podium prince moves up from Madison's visual staff to be visual caption head for Scouts. Wonder whether Blake Daughtrey will send his huge Carolina Crown tattoo back to Ft. Mill with Evan so as not to confuse judges in critiques, amongst others, ha, ha. TRacer
Boston is assembling a first rate Staff for 2016, imo. Here is a thread on Boston's recent hire of Jay Murphy ( of Blue Devils, WGI Visual Design fame ) : http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/index.php/topic/157906-jay-murphys-best-work/ Luring Professor Salzman out of retirement was a huge boost as well...Boston's new director Jeff was under Tim's tutelage as a euph & lead bari at SCV '81 thru '84 (one of the Ott years) before Jeff moved to DM in '85, so he and TIm go back a long way. MelloMatt
Will Pitts is far more proven, vertically, than JD Shaw was upon his hiring. Granted, JD had some time at Boston, but Will has been in the backpocket of BOA finalist groups for a while now and his arranging was one of the few bright spots at Spirit last year.Where was Will Pitts arranging in the BOA realm? Mitch wrote drill for Cavaliers' 2015 most recently. Will he be staying at Rosemont with its new CEO and program directors???
xandandl
INT has also announced some shifts for the '16 season, and this one may have auditionees lining up for miles. Thank God, there are no age-out limits with them. I hear it may even drive the Couchmen to new energies.. http://www.refinery29.com/2015/09/94182/toasted-coconut-oreos
