chasgroh
I have DCP bookmarked under "Entertainment". That's how ********* serious I take DCP. ...I *like* this guy!
IllianaLancerContra
And back to the point of his departure, I keep coming back to thinking that Cavies are an educational organization, maybe like the one he mentioned. I'm sure he'd appreciate some time to not have expectations - we all need a break. I'll not be surprised to find him hanging around one way or another. I was at a WGI event in Dayton yesterday, at the top row filming (with a press pass) and there, right behind me, was Dennis DeLucia about to get a read on my _Kid. I'm like, WTH? As I'm looking around and reading name tags I was like, I know him, I know him, he's here? Brad Bell is announcing. It was kind of surreal, all these names I've known for decades (one of whom, maybe, would know me). They were having a ball. Bein' band directors. I think JF will pop up as one of those after some time to regroup. This band thing is part of their DNA, too. (BTW, I have no actual knowledge of any actual circumstance of JF's moving. Call me Mr. Schultz.) IIRC he used to work in the Catholic Diocese of Chicago Schools - would that be a non-profit?

Fish
I have DCP bookmarked under "Entertainment". That's how ********* serious I take DCP. I think DCP should have a "safe space"... Edited February 14, 2016 by Fish
year1buick
I think DCP should have a "safe space"... Maybe I need a DCP safe word. (Or phrase) For when things go too far. How 'bout... Gold Bond. Yeah, that'll work.
year1buick
Actually, in regard to the thread topic (I'm a little late to that, in fact) I wish Jeff the best of luck. Wherever he should land will be better for having him there. One of the best, to be sure.

My vote would be for the word "antelope" - it's woody. Edited February 14, 2016 by Fish
xandandl
IIRC he used to work in the Catholic Diocese of Chicago Schools - would that be a non-profit? It most certainly would, particularly at this difficult time. But I don't think he would be returning there.
DanjrusMcRynky
Best of wishes to Jeff. I'm excited to see what the next few years bring for Santa Clara. Having an SCV alum back at the helm could be a really great thing for them.
