The TOC series has a great rotation of performance order, sometimes draws by lot, sometimes horse-swaps due to driving distances to/from other obligations/housing, etc. It has greatly varied although BD seems always to draw spot 1 for Dekalb. (For example, BK played last night, BS tonight, etc.) originally there were 7 shows with each corps taking a turn at each place in the order. i have no idea if it any of that is still true. Cadevilina Crown Posted July 18, 2016 Share Posted July 18, 2016 I guess it depends on the corps' wants and needs, and maybe those of the showrunner(s) as well. For example, on Sunday, August 7, the Boston Crusaders will be performing at the TOC show in Buffalo, which is great because one of the members is a Buffalo native. However, SCV will be absent, instead performing at the show in Rome that evening due to the lack of strong corps at that show. It's a rather interesting and mysterious phenomenon.
