BRASSO Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 I've played steel drums before and I know of only 2 uses of that sound in a DCI show: Bluecoats 2014 (electronic) and Jersey Surf 2015 (real). I was saying this tongue in cheek ( use of calypso steel drums ). Cadets over amplified the pit, imo Incidentally,.... strong performance from the Cadets tonite, imo. Land of Tim Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 Great show...I have come to really enjoy this Cadets show...the music is phenomenal and they have molded the show concept throughout the season so that it has more coherence (although I am still not sure about the ending).
