Are you saying this because you believe the show or performance of it is not strong enough to compete for a top 12 spot with Scouts, Academy, Troopers or Colts? Questioning the legitimacy of a possible run for the top 12 sounds like you consider a well designed and performed show by a corps that's never been in the running is illegitimate. Troopers bring goose bumps with Nessun Dorma. Haven't seen Mandarins yet but love they are getting attention for a potential finals spot. Having more corps knocking on the door to that 12th spot in a good thing for drum corps. I have missed the Glassmen over the past years. Troopers show this year will place them lower than last, Colts will be about the same place as last year. I could see OC finally competing with corps like Colts, Troopers, etc. in that ever so illusive 13th - 15th grouping they haven't been able to quite touch yet since they moved up to WC. Seattle Cascades show, at least from a Periscope, seems like the logical next step in their gradual climb since 2014.
