xandandl
Stu kills another thread by throwing in opinions on a fact thread and debating facts on the opinion threads. What a way to beg attention. His certainly must be a lonely life not thinking with the mainstream or usual fringe, and playing the victim with such comments this off season as "all DCP posters vs. Stu.". What was the old saying? "Empty barrels make the most noise." Congratulations to Spirit on the new hires. Best of everything to the brass line and those given the opportunity. It appeared she was doing a good job (and Bluecoats thought so as well).

DCI, the only youth competitive organization where the fan focus is on the adults not the youth. Personally, I think there is more focus on the coaches in college football and basketball than the individual players, at least head coaches. 1

Many will choose to audition based on who is on staff not what corps they are with. Just like top-level athlete/students often attend a college because of a the coaches and their philosophies.

Cappybara
20 hours ago, Stu said: In Major Leagues the 'primary' fan focus is is on the players, and a secondary focus is on the coaching staff. Even at that most fans can name a plethora of players but only a few coaches. In DCI die-hard fans focus 'exclusively' on the names of the adult staff and have no interest in focusing on the names of the youth performers (see this thread and many others like this thread, as well as ask fans in the stands to name names, as support for my contention). How many players can you actually name on Alabama’s football team? Ohio State’s?
