I can really just sit back and appreciate all the shows, but it does feel good to be witnessing the third golden age of SCV. 3
DCIDADDIO
So I know Criwns brass gets a lot better f accolades and they are deserved. Full and rich. But their percussion is under-rated I think! Those guys never missed a step or a beat. I do hate the unis though. Crowd digging da beast.

No different than when sports fans get serious about their teams; or when those parents of their kids' teams get into brawls (this one may be more extreme, but hopefully you get what I'm saying). Yep there's a happy medium. You can enjoy the competition and want certain corps to win without getting into a brawl. Likewise there is no need to venture into the "everyone is a winner" mentality just to avoid conflict 1

Just keep the title in Cali. I am more concerned with BD extending their top two finishes for an unprecedented 12th year in a row. Consistency like we have never seen. Chief you’re killing it today! Placement don’t matter to you so long as BD is 1st or 2nd. Lol. 2

It's like their existence depends on their corps placing a certain order. Three things are certain. Someone has to win. Someone has to come in last. And people will continue to argue about the outcome until death. 1

The worst behavior I’ve ever seen was when my kid played little league ball. Drum corps fans are pikers compared to that group.

The difference is most athletes play their respective sport because they enjoy and take pride in what they do. Most people in drum corps will tell you they do it for the same reason but they also want to entertain. Yes most of them want to win but they want to entertain people like us. Put a product on display like any artist would. Now yes I do care about placements but I find most of these shows enjoyable and that's all that matters in the end. posted from the DrumScorps app
ThirdValvesAreForWimps
Hmmm.... Beast isn’t doing anything for me. It’s good and clean but I think I was spoiled by Relentless. 4
