They have Friday off and will be in Maple Grove MN rehearsing. Everyone else has to perform in Rockford Friday night and then bus in for the Saturday show. Weather forecast for Saturday in Twin Cities looks good.

I think we can put quotes around "upset" for at least one of the corps matchups.................

Great minds think alike....... "It will be interesting to watch the next three days of Colts vs Scouts, 3 shows. Yes, tonight's spot as well as site might help. Come 7/7 they perform back to back in MN. That result imo will seal/solidify their tier for the year."

Cadevilina Crown
Saw this in the Blue Stars thread: Apparently, Phantom had electronics issues last night and started their show 7 minutes late. It didn’t result in a penalty (which is odd), but it likely had a negative impact on performance levels.

You also did say Scouts would fare better performing right after Colts. Couple of questions about that... 1. How many points do you think figured into the performance order? 2. Do you think the Scouts would have bested the Colts? See, I don't think so. I think judges are competent enough to compare performances 2-3 corps apart, no problem. It is likely more along the lines of, "the truth is the product is just not making it." That, and the Colts were probably highly motivated seeing their opportunity to advance. We shall see what shakes out.... Edited July 6, 2018 by c mor
