Didn't stop him form getting into the #2 school in the world for his major. Yes, I'm bragging, but also mentioning it because I see so many parents (here in NJ) that think their kids have to pad their resumes with all the rote 'check-the-box' activities, meanwhile avoiding a lot of activities which (a) their kids might better enjoy, and (b) might actually have more of a lasting impact on their development. Edit: and that was one of the items on my long-lost list of things to investigate prior to any corps moving: are there cultural trends in the region that are pushing participation in the marching arts down or up? From a just released report from Trulia and Yahoo. Sorry. UC Berkeley students have to pay the most expensive rents both on- and off- campus. Living on campus costs an estimated $1,861 per month, which is still $402 cheaper than living with a roommate in the city. To find a rate comparable to on-campus pricing, students would have to look south to Oakland or north to El Cerrito, according to Chacon. That doesn’t take the cost of transportation or parking into account. Among the top 10 most populous college towns, living on campus is more economical in Berkeley and Provo, Utah, home to Brigham Young University. University of Wisconsin, Madison students pay about the same price for housing whether it’s on- or off- campus.

What are those standards? And since Cadets span 80+ years of alumni and audiences, there certainly will be variety in perspectives and preferences of what proper music should be. Poster-bombing without explicitly saying what you mean (or want) seems disingenuous. Just saying... If on the other hand you are referencing SCV and the V'18 win, it will all depend on who auditions in addition to program selected and what other corps do next season, if there is a season.
