So most of my show ideas will never be done in this current drum corps environment but here is one that 'Should be Obvious'

'The Music of Aretha Franklin'

corps that come to mind that  would be a good fit for this show

Music City

 Spirit

Jersey Surf (Go  back to your roots a bit with your show choices : )

Bluecoats

Same response as the previous four years.  A new addition would be the Trooper's doing Dances With Wolves.

I think the Cadets should do a show entitled "The Cadets Present THE CADETS"

Back to the old M&G classic uniforms, crazy whiplash drill, top 3 guard & contemporary American-composed symphonic style music!

Talk about revolutionary!

Clue

Wasn't this part of an SCV "3 year plan" right around the late 2000's?

The Blue Devils doing an Indian/Bollywood show.

Santa Clara doing Little Shop of Horrors, or the idea of a growing living thing that tricks people and takes their lives.

The Cavaliers doing like a Safari/African show, where the animals are done like the Lion King Stage Musical.

I prefer shows that are NOT Broadway/Hollywood mimics by designers who can't get jobs there. Be original. Be creative. Be accessible. But be ourselves not someone else's escapism.
