They need a summer or two of DCI under their belt to melt it off My theory is that you see less of it in the top corps because the most of the members are veterans who have marched atleast a year in DCI already. Or maybe it's just the wind making a mess of it all from high. The close up was pretty neat with the emoting and the twisting of the fabric. Hope she can get out of it for the rest of the show!
