And if you win, feel all the better about it. I embrace it just fine, because BD still hasn't been beaten. Closing the gap is one thing. Beating BD next Saturday is another. If someone manages to do that, more power to them.
Ashontheinternet
BD going from leading first place by a mile to having 3 other corps breathing right down their neck is something i am confused by but welcoming fully. this season keeps getting weirder.

And the way the corps are progressing score wise at this time of the year, I don't see how you can honestly compare the two nights as if they happened together. The corps that performed tonight SHOULD be scoring higher than if they had performed last night. What did last nights corps do when tonight’s corps performed in Lawrence Thursday. Wasn’t that THEIR extra day of rehearsal? Or did it all even out? Edited August 6, 2023 by LabMaster 1

And Crown percussion was scored 3rd, above BD, Bluecoats and Cadets. Impressive showing from those guys. I still think it's Cavaliers or Boston for the Sanford but any of these top 6 are good enough to be Sanford winners most years.

Allentown is a funky show, and I don't think BD had their best run last night. I wouldn't read that much into it. Makes for some fun conversation leading into Indy though. 2
Jnecker
Way to go Colts, I think they get the 11 seed but 10th by high score and 9th by last three average. Blue Stars I think get 9th for Prelims on the San Antonio Score over 10th Toopers and 11th Colts. If my math is right?

How about the corps breathing down BD’s neck are actually quite good? 11
