The Cadets have always been about marketing and branding, so I guess they feel this logo will bring all the other different Cadets together, ie: Garfield, Holy Name, CBC and so on. For some reasons, this logo has a very strong coporate look... immediately reminds me that this could be a logo of Delta-Northwest Airlines merger. That way it still kinda has the arrow G thing they had going for a while: I was thinking the same thing. I like that a little better. The new logo looks more like a generic business watermark.... something you would find in clip art.... I understand that there is symbolism within the logo, but to me, this does not seem like a step forward in marketability. Luckily for me, the logo has nothing to do with show design. sday88 Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 As I look at it, it could also look like an aerial view of a Cadet with the arrows representing the plume and the 'C' the back part of the shako...it's definitely modern looking and pretty cool IMHO. I can see that now that you mention it. I was thinking the left side of the "C" as more of the front of the shako though. I just think the "C" is too skinny of a line.
