MikeD
According to the summary on yea.org of Hoppy's Fireside Chat, "the corps will be clad in all-white DeMoulin uniforms with maroon accents such as those first worn by the drum majors many years ago.." Will this be the controversy it was last year? Or is the fact that the initial announcement indicates it is the uniform worn by drum majors past make this a non-issue? I thought Cadets 2 were going to wear the all white uniforms this year. Anyone know if that is still the case? MikeN
(For those who didn't read every thread last year, the real controversy was when a casual mention was made to the Cadets not using "traditional" uniforms. They then modified that to mean traditional uniforms in different variations, and the rest is history...) Mike

And it WAS indeed a controversy until the final designs were revealed.

skajerk
I'm thinking they will look very sharp, and while I would like to see all cream colored unis, the all white probably fits the whole 12.25 theme better. Very much looking forward to seeing/hearing them! Yep. Beat me to it.

Very much looking forward to seeing/hearing them! Ohh, I assumed the uniforms used were going to be the cream colored angel uniforms from last year. Unless people are using white/cream interchangeably... Either way will look GREAT. Edited March 7, 2012 by charlie1223

Michael Boo
I guess I missed the memo last year about the all maroon uniforms being a "controversy." This was the scene in downtown Allentown a few minutes after the announcement was made about the uniform change.

Mike It was only "controversy" among angry alum who felt they would be permanently changing the uniform and that it wouldn't be keeping with the "West Point" style uniform. Of course, we all know how successful that was.
