Time to celebrate the first show thread of the season (couple days early I know, but oh well)! Akron, OH - Innovations In Brass What are your score/placement predictions? Who will be the strongest out the gate? Here are mine: 1. The Cavaliers - 74.95 2. Carolina Crown - 73.75 3. The Cadets - 73.5 4. Bluecoats - 69.70 5. Phantom Regiment - 69.35 6. Blue Stars - 65.15 I always make my top 13 corps prediction on July 4th.....but just for kicks...I'll take a stab at predicting the first show of the season.... 1. Carolina Crown 2. The Cavaliers 3. Everything that's leaked on to youtube so far this season has been *really* impressive. Man this is killing me So...do you think I could get a good seat if I bought a single on show day? Cadets- 74.4 -champions bump! 2.Crown- 74.1 -top three ( 4 really ) will be so good judges are just going to guess 3.Cavaliers-74.0 -judges will figure this new scoring out by July 4. Bluecoats- 72.3 -underscored based on last years placement! 5.Phantom- 72.0 -judges will give them a really good guard score 6. It's only a 6hr drive :-) Looks like plenty of great seats available at the show site. I'm doing the same thing. Bluecoats -People are really underestimating Bloo, they will come out hot! 3. Carolina Crown -Dirty start but will be amazing as usual. 4. Cavaliers -Same as Crown. 5. Phantom Regiment -Usually slow out of the gate but cant wait for Nessun Dorma! 6. Blue Stars - Heard the hornline is lacking and rather dirty. Itll be an uphill climb for them.
