flammaster
If this has been posted, my bad, must've missed it. This is the repertoire according to corpsreps.com: "NYC" from Annie "Gotta Dance" from Singing in the Rain "Good Morning" from Singing in the Rain "I Got Rhythm" from An American in Paris "Moses Supposes" from Singing in the Rain "The Boy Next Door" from Meet me in St. Louis Traffic Jammin' from New York Cityscape for Wind Ensemble by Jeff Tyzik "Get Happy" from Summer Stock Happy Days are Here Again A lot of music. Some fun stuff in there, I'll always remember watching "Singing in the Rain" while I was younger with my mom, those'll be fun pieces. Should be a fun show! For this year? SFZFAN
Any news on uniforms or drums? Same as last year?
Kamarag
The long list of music has me a little worried that they'll fall into the same trap as the last couple of years, where they shoehorn so much in that it becomes chaotic from an arranging standpoint. I know the design team is different, but Madison's strength has always been in picking three or four great tunes and playing the hell out of them. Other corps can program successfully with a lot of music, but Madison isn't one of those. Edited June 6, 2015 by Kamarag
tesmusic
Any news on uniforms or drums? Same as last year? There are a few slight uniform changes. I think it'll be well received.
DrumManTx
That isn't officially from Madison, though corpsreps hasn't been wrong for me before.
DrumManTx
That isn't officially from Madison, though corpsreps hasn't been wrong for me before. Correction, looks like corpsreps got it from Drum Corps world. http://www.drumcorpsworld.com/Magazines/jun_2015/jun_2015.html
xandandl
Steve Vickers, head of DCW, knows a little bit about the Madison Scouts having served on their BoD for many, many years.
SFZFAN
There are a few slight uniform changes. I think it'll be well received. I was hoping for green jackets over the white pants but that would be more than a slight change.
tesmusic
I was hoping for green jackets over the white pants but that would be more than a slight change. It would, but there was some green in it last year, so if they add a little more it could still be slight. Maybe red?
