Also, as for Cadets 2014, they had ZERO props on the field (aside from the banners in the last show). All they had was a large stage in front.

Strictly speaking, I think the Cadets' stage actually was on the field proper. And it was enormous. I took a bunch of family and friends to the Massillon show, many of whom were new to drum corps. They all remarked on the size of the stage as it rolled into the stadium. And of course, people sitting in the first few rows throughout the season quite reasonably mentioned that the stage obscured their view of the members on the field.

Phantom had that God awful puppet in 2013. It has to be one of the worst props I have seen unfortunately in the same show as that beautiful drill move of a book opening.

I imagine they thought it would be effective along the lines of Julie Taymor's work, like The Lion King stage musical. Unfortunately, puppets are always a challenge to get right. Several months ago, I was exchanging emails with the production manager of a sizeable regional theatre. He mentioned they were in the midst of producing Little Shop of Horrors. I wrote, "Good luck with the Audrey II puppet!" He replied, "Don't get me started."

Just wondering, did they have to secure rights for using the fashion labels on the flags or is that copyright infringement?

In the U.S, logos are protected by trademark law not copyright. There are fair use terms for trademarks. Regiment's use probably falls within those terms.

Though it looks like these are international trademarks too. That I don't entirely know.

I'll never get tired of hearing Elsa's from this corps.

Not only did I get teary eyed, I felt an incredible vibe from this year's members. You make me so proud. Do it up Regiment!!!!!!!!!

Blue Stars played the Phantom Regiment version of Amazing Grace at the Dr. Kampschroer memorial this past weekend.

Thank you Blue Stars for honoring my fellow Regiment MM with Amazing Grace.

Grace is one of the characteristics Dave had in amazing abundance.
