San Antonio Lineup

Recommended Posts

This isn't really all that odd... Considering the increase in competitive programming over the last 10-15 years and the early showings from these groups this season. What this means is that spots 8-12ish mean a whole lot more than they used to... i.e. spot 8 may well be in point-value contention with spot 3 or 4... Maybe even 1 under the right circumstances. Kinda like 1988... Anybody remember those shows?

The irony being that people think this is some sort of win for Troopers. They are saddled by corps that are abashedly, light years better than they are.

They don't come out from this looking better than they are, they come out looking way worse.

Wild Horses are not saddled....

While i am not a Troopers fan, i respect the heck out of their performers, organization, and what they mean to DCI . But i am certainly rooting for them in San Antonio cause i want to see if some of these people on this forum are man/woman enough to eat a huge plate of crow when the Troopers tear the f****** house down in San Antonio and show they belong. The gauntlet has been thrown down Troopers! Go get yours Troopers!

"RAWHIIIIIIIIDE!"

Some got REALLY good slots, some got REALLY REALLY REALLY bad slots.

What kind of slot do you think OC received?

Says the guy who's fav corps prob got the best draw possible.

But is it really? After SCV and Crown... Could hurt them more than help.

Now, do u really think BStars will be hurt by their performance order? I don't. They'll stand out and do very well. BK drew the 12 spot for every regional in 2012? Or may have been 2013.... Anyway, bad draws come around it's just part of a very good and competitive activity

How did they break the tie between Oregon Crusaders and Pacific Crest who both scored 69.05 in Denver?

They tied for the 18th highest score last night. It seems that OC got the 18th spot and was drawn in the 16-17-18 group while PC got the 19th spot and was drawn in the 19-20-21 group. I could not find where they show the method for breaking the tie as it relates to the seedings for the random draw.

*Note* The Academy and Colts also tied but for the 10th highest score last night. They were both drawn in the 10-11-12 group regardless of who was determined to be 10th or 11th for the draw.

Maybe alphabetically?

Weighted score perhaps - put PC in 19th? (I agree that PC got a bad draw and OC got a good draw.)

do I think Madison got screwed by it? Yes. A lot. They should be in the 10-12 grouping not the 13-15 and over and hour hurts. And say blue stars were to get 9th place after all of yesterday that gives them a chance to perform after a break instead of before. After a long break means more rehearsal time to clean. I think what's more important is what block you're performing in. Look at the time difference between Madison and troopers. The judge will have had so much in between how will they be able to compare those 2

Madison 6:15

Troopers 8:48
