BlueStainGlass
I like how the blue stars are rebuilding their old visual program back to their 8th place corps. Putting that with the music that's been successful the last couple years will be interesting. Hopefully they steer away from a dissonance style show. With Sauce writing you'll still hear the dissonance. Edited October 15, 2015 by tesmusic
BlueStainGlass
With Sauce writing you'll still hear the dissonance. 2014 was a non dissonance show and it did great. They never follow back to back years with the same style of show so I'm expecting a good feeling show. Seems now a days the light shows do better than the dark killing people shows. I'm just excited that the visual program has been overhauled and what the brought in was something that was a key in their comeback in 08-10.
HornTeacher
With Sauce writing you'll still hear the dissonance. I both applaud and enjoy the dissonance. As they say, after all...you can't have a heaven without hell. You need the tension of the dissonance in order to lend counterpoint, magnification, and further enhancement of the beauty of sound. Viva la' strange for the betterment of the good!!! Edited October 16, 2015 by HornTeacher
CrownBariDad
I don't know if all of this is old news or not -- the first page of this thread is hard to access on a smartphone. But this was just reported on Spirit's FB page with the following link to their website. http://spiritdrumcorps.org/2015/10/15/meet-the-2016-spirit-of-atlanta-visual-team/
