N.E. Brigand
Just so everyone has realistic expectations, Fuse is hardly a highly viewed cable network. If this show gets more than 50,000 viewers, it would be a "hit" for them. It's not like millions of people will be watching. But from a drum corps perspective, even 50,000 viewers is nothing to sneeze at.
N.E. Brigand
If there's no back stabbing, cat fighting, jilted relationships, in corps ########, etc., it might not retain the sponsors. Which means that the sponsors believe the American public wants back stabbing, cat fighting, jilted relationships, etc. Are they wrong? Cadets' or DCA threads about C2 win in Rochester. point proven.
Terri Schehr
I was lukewarm about this show but now I'm interested.

The Fuse cable network although it has been targeting the millennial audience of 18 to 34 yr/old...it's not really much of a trend or GO TO for millennials...and this study demonstrates that...but I do feel it will most likely be beneficial to drum corps... DeanInChicago
During the initial season of Survivor, any of the Final Four could have won: Susan Hawk, Rudy, Richard Hatch or Kelly Wigglesworth. Though WE know the outcome of the Cadets and Blue Devils season, maybe followers of Fuse won't. First season winner Richard Hatch made it to the finals only because contestant Sean was voting players off in alphabetical order. Had the pleasure (yeah right!) of baby sitting Hatch during his time in the PC unit at the HOC I worked in as a CO. He wasn't a pain like the "shoe bomber" was. afd
It could be a cool thing for the activity. We don't know yet. There is certainly a lowest-common denominator factor to a lot of reality television. As oppose to the smart intellectual conversations on here all the time.
