Yeah, with Academy I just feel the show last year was so special and so well designed. It was interesting, fun, entertaining and like nothing we have ever seen before. I mean who wouldn't absolutely love performing that show, and I think the love the members must have had for that show took them farther than anyone, perhaps even they, thought. Sadly, I don't think any of those adjectives listed earlier can describe this years show for me. At least right now. We will see how it evolves over the course of the season, but I think it's really hard for any corps to follow up with something as special after a truly special year. cadet_mellos Posted June 29, 2017 Share Posted June 29, 2017 The best thing for the sport would be to recognize 2-5 or 2-6 are close enough to one another where super-skilled judging can identify who has the strongest night. And it varies many nights so there is a reordering instead of slotted-in-advance of the performance and sameness of ranking disconnected from what happens on the field.
