The cadets would rip a longer string of it to shreds. It’s too short. This may sound blasphemous, but having woodwinds can help a Maslanka arrangement. TRacer
That one transition was so abrupt, the NHTSA should mandate airbags— Egad!

barigirl78
Belated High Cam Thought on Blue Stars (I got a phone call) The horn line is very, very good I'm not sure how much the uniforms help from a distance I am not familiar with the music. I suppose if I was, it telegraphs the theme. Right? Solid drum corps High Cam (and some midcam) thought on Cadets: I missed what the show is called, but I guess it has something to do with a queen. But, I lost track of her Other than Bridge Over Troubled Waters, the music doesn't stick with me much Like the uniforms Like the use of the stair props Sound guy: Your volume on the mellophone solo was too high. You know how in shows like American Idol, the singers insert runs into familiar songs just to show off their chops, but it doesn't necessarily improve the song? I felt that way a little bit in Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Here's a simple, beautiful song that doesn't necessarily benefit from the necessary embelishments that getting a good difficulty score requires. What makes that part of that piece so incredible is the build into it. Wish they could be doing more of it. I would love for some corps to do an entire show based on #4. If Bloo ever wanted to go that direction... 🙂
