Facilities, facilities and facilities! Very difficult if not impossible to secure facilities. Many schools won’t even be opening until the fall of 2021. garfield
I'm afraid the whole thing is done for 2021. DCI, WGI, BOA, and countless circuits need to brace for impact.

I think 2021 will be the year to rebuild and reflect IF there is a successful vaccine and see what will happen in 2022. There is no quick turn on switch for normalcy.

The H1N1 Influenza of 1918-1919 ended without a vaccine. Polio outbreaks ended without vaccines for many years. The original SARS coronavirus outbreak in 2002 ended without a vaccine (there still isn't one: COVID is basically SARS 2.0). There has never been a vaccine for any coronavirus. But this pandemic will end at some point even if there isn't. I agree that WGI is probably sunk for Winter/Spring 2021. But I expect by Summer 2021 things will be "returning" to normal (there will be permanent changes from this, no doubt, but perhaps not as widespread and drastic as many fear).

Newseditor44
I'm confident of a couple things: 1. There will be no WGI or DCI in 2021. 2. When we do get the activity back, it's going to look much different than it was when we left it.
