DeanInChicago
The Midwest Combine continues its tour Friday, August 6 in DeKalb IL. Originally to play in Rockford, the Show of Shows will be presented instead at Northern Illinois University. It’s a gloriously HUGE grand stand with no track. Not a bad seat in the house. Phantom Regiment has the encore.

tedrick
DeKalb... if a stadium could speak... think of the thousands of performances since the 70s (were there shows there prior to the 70s?) The hey day of Drum Corps Midwest - two nights semi/finals competition in July for DCM Championship -- Great memories!

I competed in that place too. I remember DeKalb's claim to fame was being the home of where barbed wire was invented.
