Will brass be strong (you bet), will they have a strong guard and percussion (I have no idea), will the music, visual and drill be good and push the show (idk), I am open to anyone bringing it on the field. I’m not a guard person, but I think based off the video that I saw of Crown and Boston, Crowns guard has more of a holistic presence throughout. It felt like Boston’s guard were just attempting lots of tricks with their weapons and forgot that they had a flag line as well. NewArpege Posted June 30, 2022 Share Posted June 30, 2022 From what I saw in the videos, Crown came across as the clear leader of the moment; in general, their music and drill seemed harder than many other corps. Their book has a lot of special moments to it — often giving me a Cadets 2000 vibe. If they keep finding ways of pushing the limits, this show could be a monster production.
