Bloo - guard

Boston - brass

Cavies - percussion

Devils - GE

Devils - Visual

Devils - Music

Without being able to see the scores, this doesn't look like a slam dunk for BD.

Honestly yes.  It seems criminal for one of these shows not to "medal."  Although I still remember when "top 5" was the podium since it meant the PBS show.

Then top 6 for the videos.

What is the lowest placed corps to have won a caption???

We have to consult the Wayback Machine to the last century but I believe the 12th place Bridgemen won percussion in 1981.

And there was another year, maybe 1982 where the 14th place Bridgemen had the highest percussion score of the finals weekend in semis but didn't win any awards because they didn't make finals.

Before the season I wouldn’t have said Boston Brass at 1st, drums at 2nd and guard at 3rd. Would have been reversed. But cool to see some variety at the top this year and holy cow look at the cavies!!!

You're probably thinking 83-84. Bridgemen were top 6 in 81 and 7th or 8th in 82.
