yabetterbelieveit
I think Cadets need to go dark(er), a nod to 2005, 1998, 1993, etc.
Hrothgar15
1999 BD wasn't the same piece. Are you sure? It seems like the same piece is in both (as well as in Madison 2006).
crazymello
Wow, so considering Cadets drill, with a show title like "Move," they seriously must be flying. >.>
charlie1223
I think Cadets need to go dark(er), a nod to 2005, 1998, 1993, etc. No, thank you. If we have Crown, BD, BC, Cavies, Vanguard, Blue Stars all doing "dark" than we certainly don't need another! These songs are great, ESPECIALLY SING, SING, SING!! The rock tune is going to be interesting and the Danza tune is going to be perfect cadets. reminds me a little of 2000 in terms of "style"? blah... bad comparison. But I like the idea of movement. I can imagine the drill and body work is going to be top notch! I was at the webinar and they had a lot of other ideas too. One of them was a baseball theme I thought might be fun but this "MOVE!" idea seems to be a favorite of the staff. And yes, Hop did mention that the dancing, styles, and interpretation of the movement was going to be a huge focus. oh, and ofcourse playing for the standing ovations! Prediction: Cadets get so many standing O's in 2011 that people just decide to stand up to watch the performance. ;) Can't wait to find out what Crown, BC, and Cavies are cooking! sarnia sam
Still partial to Oaklands 76 and 77 versions of Sing, Sing. Doubt anyone will attempt to do the ending the right way, since no one else has tried to. Regards, John
supersop
It reminds me more of their variety show "Juxtaperformance"
Super Don-O
If they treat it like Swing, Swing Swing from their '95 show count me in
oldbandguy
“Students deserve to hear a crowd on their feet,” added Bocook. “They work too many hours, day after day, to not receive the reward of appreciation.” :spitting: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Jay Bocook. Jeff Ream
Still, a lot of it depends on the concept and how they arrange it. Actually sounds like a ... strangely compelling program to me...Mike I just don't see Robert Palmer being the ballad.
