yogitom
And to think that THIS came in fifth. Ok... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YLfIUFER2Y Actually THAT show placed 4th in DeKalb, which is where you're video link is from. The audio is horrid BTW. tim_brandt
Post San Antonio Update (grouped by tiers) : Still sticking w/ Bloo to make a nats-week surge, coming out of Massillon : 1) Bluecoats +/-0 (worst case 2nd) 2) BD +/-0 (worst case) 3) SCV +4 (on a big push, backed by the fans) 4) Cadets +/-0 (highly polished show, but lacks GE in the end) 5) Cavaliers +1 (narrowly misses passing Cadets) 6) Crown -3 (I can't believe that I just dropped them to 6th, whoops) 7) BK +3 (a fan favorite) 8) Boston +1 (I think there's a 30% chance of them passing Regiment, giving them the slot for fun) 9) Regiment -4 (despite a beautiful program, the lack of fast tempos & variety gets them in the end) 10) Blue Stars NEW (very strong showing, gives PR / Boston a scare) 11) Crossmen +/-0 (another strong showing, very close to Blue Stars) 12) Madison -4 (old school gets dumped in the end) Original predictions : 1. Bluecoats 2. BD 3. Crown 4. Cadets 5. PR 6. Cavaliers 7. SCV 8. Scouts 9. Boston 10. Blue Knights 11. Crossmen 12. Splooie99
The battle for 13-17 is also interesting. I beleive the top 12 we saw in SA will be the same in Indy. The battle between SOA OC PC and Academy is very interesting. I toss in the Troopers as well. To me in my view of these 5 corps, OC has the most opportunity to clean up their shows. If nothing else, I do not see an Open class corps beating any of these 5. Unless PC gets dumped somehow in quarter finals. Right now, the judges are still not locked into all the corps on the same sheets and same scale. IMHO!

superOOk
Just my 2 cents, but if the judges are going to place Coats and Cadets so close, I think the "tie" goes to Coats. I don't think Crown is going to get beat by SCV, but that is entirely up to Crown's snare line. The BD "inevitability" factor this summer has been hilarious. It's like their supporters are trying to jinx them. 1. BD 98.42. Cad 97.73. BC 97.654. SCV 96.755. Car 96.76. BAC 94.357. BK 94.258. Cav 94.19. Phan 93.810. Blu 91.611. Mad 90.912. Cro 89.9513. Ghost
It would be great if 11 corps broke 90, but it might be tough.

The open class judging, like in Manchester, has been all over the place. It will sort itself out in Indy.
