Of the Corps than finished 5th to 20th last season, no Corps will move up more than 3 placement positions. Which means that I predict that Crown will not win this year, and that Spirit of Atlanta will not make Top 12 for Finals Night. I also predict that the winning Corps for 2015 will be one of the following 3,( and no others ). BD, Cadets or Bluecoats. My " rationalization " for this is the Theory of Competitive Inertia, develped by a long time DCP'er on here about a decade ago, and which has stood the test of time thru historical analysis as a pretty good barometer, and as something to hang our hats on, when we really have nothing else to go on in the offseason, and in the preseaaon. Or being an open class corps qualifies them (if they so desire) to perform a shorter in length show vrs a world class corps' length of performance? They played their 2015 show at their Memorial Day concert they have every year, they've announced around this time the past two seasons. Should be any time now. They're always a late announcer.
