CrownBariDad
In 2024, will there be any show moments from 2014 that folks still talk about? Example: 1982 SCV "bottle dance" 2008 Phantom killing their Drum Major in Spartacus (though only 6 years old, I expect it will still be a beloved topic 4 years from now). A few of my suggestions for 2014: The Cavies marimba feature. The Bluecoats member's leap off the tilt ramp and/or pitch bend ending. Are these worthy of being compared to the above SCV and Phantom moments? Are there others that will standout for you and you think will stand the test of time? Or was this just a really good year for Drum Corps, but no super significant moment rises above the others? I'm hoping to get moments that make us feel good about Drum Corps and not "Oh, that was the year of vocals, props, and trombones".

CrownBariDad
99.65. Not strictly a show moment, but if you want to go with that -- are you saying that the Blue Devils won't surpass that score in the next 10 years? I think we all know the answer to that one. oldbandguy
Pitch Bend and crowd reaction. And let's face it...no one can ever attempt it again and expect the same reaction...including Bluecoats.
Popular Post skevinp
Things tend to blur together in my memory. Ten years from now I will probably remember the moment that Lincoln's skeleton ran up a ramp playing the trombone and took a swan dive and bounced off a trampoline while smacking his tail bone with a tambourine.
Tim K
Three highlights include: Bluecoats "Hymn of Axiom" Crown brass line playing just trumpets and mellophone sand the muffler chimes. Cavies: marimba solo However, with the way I devour all the Dvd's, I will probably remember most if the shows for years to come.
