Anyway, someone mentioned over in the other thread that Derek Gipson (Bluecoats Brass Caption Head) is moving to the UK and may be leaving the corps staff. If this is at all true, that would be a big loss for an organization that could win its first title soon. He's done a great job establishing (maintaining?) the hornline's "signature sound" since Wozniak left for SCV. soccerguy315 Posted August 17, 2015 Share Posted August 17, 2015 I have heard that visual staff is being replaced at Crossmen. I wonder if someone else is taking them? Otherwise, I think it's a mistake to say things like "I think so and so is leaving," or "corps X is cleaning house," or "I hear so and so, from such and such, is leaving because of something my uncle's nephew's best friend told him while at a bar. I thought they were doing pretty well the last couple years (granted, I don't know if the current staff was there prior to this year). Most of the vis staff has been there since 2013. What about a friend source at a bar or some such at a Stadium. ? Can we use that unnamed, anonymous source for citing what we heard, and have that work on here ok ?
