George Dixon
If this was to happen, may some of the current Cadets vets follow them. Cadets are not exactly moving up the ladder of success. The talent level kept them from placing lower. Unfortunately the pool of talent may not be as deep or wide as it has been. If rumors are true it may be a long time before they're even in a conversation for another gold. The real problem doesn't see himself as the problem. Until that gets fixed the slide down the lader will most likely continue. 1. We know zero. Could happen or could not. For all we know if it happens the replacements could do better 2. This years corps was young. Big time 3. For all we know any of the top six could drop, win or even fold by next season
George Dixon
I will add this IF Cadets lose both Gino and Colin I would expect more of a shakeup up to and including the director. That would not sit well

TroopAlum12
Looking at those glassdoor reviews, many of them definitely sounded way too similar to be genuine. I think at least two were genuinely unique however, and they were both also negative. Not counting the one positive that was so obviously written by Hop it's just funny (anyone who follows him on social media would recognize that typing style anywhere). Of course...that one guy who posted all the spam reviews could also have done that one just so he/she could point it out for effect.
jjeffeory
Staff fed up in what way? Not trying to be snotty or sarcastic, just interested. Seems as though Cadets have not had a breakthrough idea, especially visually since Angels and Demons. You could usually count on Cadets to come in with something groundbreaking, or at the very least something that was out there and worked, every 2-3 years. Visually, they haven't looked like the Cadets in a few years. Those kaleidoscopic effects are not there at all. Maybe try going back to something like West Side Story to connect the audience and alumni? I found this on glassdoor.com https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Youth-Education-in-the-Arts-Reviews-E930304.htm What I find interesting about it is that most of the reviews are from this year. Hope things get better for them soon. I know what it's like to see an organization fall a bit from the top.

The Glass Door reviews in combination with the fact they always seem to be hiring, doesn't send a good message. Announcing you are making staff changes BEFORE the banquet is pretty crappy. Banquets should be celebrations of a year of hard work for both staff and corps. They are opportunities to rebuild morale.

They aged out 65 last year, per a GH post yesterday. 40 this year.

HornTeacher
Given that many on a corps staff are performing their duties on a remunerative basis not anywhere near commensurate with the amount of time and energy which they give, I would tend to think that, out of fairness, they should be receiving word of any prospective changes to their corps from their corps itself...not as fodder for speculation on an internet site. I would guess that is the very least that any one of us would not only hope for, but expect if we were to be the ones in their shoes. (Climbing back into my hole of naivete, and re-erecting my "Pollyanna" mailbox.) Edited August 14, 2016 by HornTeacher
BRASSO
Well, Colin was just inducted into the Cadets HOF, so he is well-liked by a LOT of people. Colin also cut his teeth in Drum Corps by marching the Boston Crusaders( early 90's ). He's a good guy, well liked, as you said.
