Well I guess that is how someone knows it is time to retire.  GH used to LOVE that pressure cooker, he thrived in it.

So if he doesn't like it anymore, then yeah, the writing is on the wall.

True. There are others, unfortunately, who don't "get the hint" or realize it's time to move on.  Which type is Hop? I don't know.

You funny!  I LOVED that Star show

90 & 93 were their best shows - with 93 being less popular with the crowds but more forward thinking

91/92 they had extremely talented corps but both programs fell flat at times

Hmmmm - I don't find DCA to be more fun, I'll take BOA over DCA, much more sophisticated designs.

I think we are speaking from the point of administration experience, not show design, MM experience, or audience appreciation.

DCA is once a week drum corps not 24/7 with six states zoomed though between sunset and sunrise.

From a directors perspective trust me it is a lot more fun.

If Hopkins retired as Director of Cadets after this summer he would have served for 32 years (Cadets formed in 1932) and ended with a program Mass that served as the foundation of his first championship. Symmetry!

His latest FB post seems to directly address this...  He's not done.
