Ok,

I want to see Star '90 live. I DID see it live once, but it was early season.

Given today's news, I'm trying to remember: wasn't there a show in which the whole corps shouted "Vive la France!" at the end of a movement?

92 Phantom.

Thank you!

Yep, there it is at 3:04 in this video:

Apropos of nothing at all, I checked CorpsReps to see what shows happened on August 9, 1974. That was a Friday. Did anyone here attend either of the following? Corps are ordered by placement. Pretty amusing to see the Bluecoats, way down at 30th place in the lower division of the latter event. To respond to the original post: it would indeed be pretty neat to travel aback in time and see that performance.

World Open Prelims (Lynn, MA)

CLASS A: Muchachos, Anaheim Kingsmen, Pembroke Imperials, Kilties, Blue Stars, Bridgemen, Garfield Cadets, Purple Lancers, Beverly Cardinals, Phantom Regiment, 27th Lancers, Valley Grenadiers, Emerald Cadets, Surfers, CMCC Warriors, Boston Crusaders, I.C. Reveries, 507 Hornets, St. Francis Sancians, St. George's Olympians, 4th Brigade, Sir Thomas Moore, 5th Maine Regiment, Holy Family Defenders, Centurions

CLASS B: Saints, Townsmen, Keystone Regiment, Silhouettes, Kingston Indians, Meadowlarks, Bethesda Emerald Knights, Golden Buccaneers, Connecticut Classics, Black Knights, Les Compagnos, Black Watch,

I was at this show...classic open wood bleachers, ring of souvie tables (and the Vanguard bass drum)...Marion was our big show pilgrimage growing up - then we went to Finals in 74 and everything changed...

1978 SCV at Finals. The show that got me hooked on DCI.

OK, two others. 1992 SCV (GR's last show) and Crossmen (just for the excitement of making the top 6).

45  years ago tomorrow.

(Still waiting for this set-up to pay off with the punchline, more than two years later. Thinking now that it will never happen. Sigh.)

1981 27th Lancers. If nothing else then because I've probably watched/listened to that show more than any other show in my life. But didn't see it live.

2nd that. I watched it on PBS as a teen.
