Between this and the what happened to Madison thread, I’m getting laughs a plenty.

I’m a brass player so inferring that my ilk has been reduced to a back-up band...well, it’s a teeny tiny bit insulting....

Which Madison thread? There’s two now because someone couldn’t be bothered to ease through the original muck.

The second edition. 😂

When I was in junior corps, we had a tape deck on the bus and every time drama was happening, which was a lot, someone popped in the Perry Mason theme.

Where’s that Perry Mason music when you really need it?

Isn't Crusaders guard staff mostly the former staff from Crown?
And if so ... it's a shame that Crown let them "get away."

Yes .. even down to the techs.  Call me bitter. !!!

maybe Crown can buy them back. Why did they leave anyways?

To me, this year is the best that Boston's brass has ever sounded.

So the guard must be doing something right.

Why are you bitter? If anything you should be both amused and flattered. Crown has been placing better than BAC despite the exodus.

The staff left because they were offered a copious amount of money and creative freedom as compared to their time at Crown

Interesting to see this phrase picked up by the rest of DCP.  Of course what it actually means is a blank check for the production budget.   Absolutely true that Crown did not give the designers an open-ended budget for production design.  They had a very definite (albeit generous) budget cap.
