He takes it for me.

I almost snapped my neck doing a double take when I first heard him!

Then it's keytar, no question.

Never thought I'd vote all non-traditional instruments.

Who am I becoming??

Yes -- I love the keytar.

Samesies.

The only time my partner's interest was genuinely piqued this season was by that keytar soloist. He's a multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Texas bands too, is generally very supportive but not so much this season. He hates watching me get upset of over the things I get upset about. 😢

But that dang keytar got him too! 🥰

For me, the Boston Baritone and Crown Trumpet are the tops.

BD's Piccolo Trumpet player is decent, but tends to overblow and not always get a light/clean picc sound (prob too much backpressure) imo (I play a bunch of picc so I'm prob more critical of it)

I couldn't disagree more. I can't stand it in the show.

I don't know about can't stand, but I'll face the wrath of many including Don Pardo by agreeing with your disagreement. I find it a bit much and a little distracting, especially at the end of the show.
